Join us as we welcome Kristina McCollam of Assurant.

What you'll learn: This is an interactive session on what personal branding is, apart from the currently popular digitally focused version. We’ll look at how your personal brand is created and how you can help employees change (improve) it. We’ll collaboratively think through a number of value qualities that play into personal branding, particularly in the workplace but relevant to all areas of life, and consider the observable behaviors that influence your effectiveness with others.

Register & pay in 2 easy steps:  **Live links will be posted after the previous month's meeting has concluded.

    About the speaker:

Kristina McCollam is a boomerang native of Rapid City who spent entirely way too much time in higher education (first as student, then as professor). Upon returning to Rapid she discovered that there were few to no jobs in the area related to her experience, and made a decision to try something completely new. She was hired at Assurant five years ago as a bilingual phone rep in one of the customer service teams and after several stepping stone opportunities in the company is currently the Director of Business and Client Development for the Global Preneed Business.

Kristina participated in the Leadership Rapid City Class of ’07 (the class that created Summer Nights downtown), served on the LRC Board for two years, was a member of the Summer Nights Board until 2014, is an LRC class facilitator, and has been a mentor with the Women’s Community Leadership Initiative.

Kristina is a former roller derby blocker, drinks a ridiculous amount of coffee, and is certain to be the darn person who already completed the crossword puzzle of the airline magazine in your seatback pocket. When not working or traveling for work, she spends most of her time driving her two boys to various activities and fast food drive-thrus.
