    What you'll learn:

What can management do when a worker’s performance is documented as significantly sub optimal, has not responded to typical managerial methods of improvement, and there is reasonable evidence indicating the basis for the performance is related to health, medical, aging, or physical issues?

Dr. Timothy Ungs, MD, MS, MHA Occupational Medicine Physician and Linda Wolden, RN, BSN, Occupational Health Nurse  will bring a fresh approach to the workplace dilemma “what can you do when a worker demonstrates sub-optimal performance”.  Has it become a safety issue for the worker and other workers?  Are personal health issues “off the table”?  What about production? The “solution nuggets” will be delivered in a lively presentation with time for your questions.  The “nuggets” will include:  identification of the issues,  pro-actively addressing all employees with consistency,  how to avoid  “singling out” a particular person or group, legal pitfalls and other “take aways” for human resources management.
